Brief Information :- The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ ( Group ‘B’, Non - Gaze tte d) and Steno gra pher G ra d e ‘D’ ( Group ‘C’) in various Ministries/ Departments / Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories. Only those candidates who have skills instenography are eligible to apply. Tentative vacancies are as follows.

Important Dates Application Start Date :- 02.08.2023 Application Last Date :- 23.08.2023 (2300 hours) Fee Payment Last Date :- 23.08.2023 (2300 hours) Date of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges :- 24.08.2023 to 25.08.2023 (2300 hours) Schedule of Computer Based Examination :- October, 2023						Application Fee For All Other Candiates : Rs. 100/- For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women Candidates : Rs. 00/- Pay the Examination Fee Through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card Or Net Banking Mode etc.
Age Limit (As On 01.08.2023) Minimum Age Limit :- 18 Years. Stenographer Grade ‘C Maximum Age Limit :- 30 Years. A candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply. Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Maximum Age Limit :- 27 Years. Candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply. Age Relaxation to reserved category candidates as per guidelines in this regard.
