Qualification (ITI Passed Candidates:)
Each candidate should have registered in the Apprenticeship portal of Government of India and should possess educational qualification as indicated in the below;

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant			ITI in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Fitter			ITI in Fitter trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Electrician			ITI in Electrician trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Welder (Gas and Electric)			ITI in Welder trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Surveyor			ITI in Surveyor trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Mechanic Diesel			ITI in Mechanic Diesel trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Wireman			ITI in Wire trade accredited with NCVT or Electrician Trade accredited with SCVT.
Draughtsman (Civil)			ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Pump Operator Cum Mechanic			ITI in Pump Operator Cum Mechanic trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Turner			ITI in Turner trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
Machinist			ITI in Machinist trade accredited with NCVT or SCVT.
NCVT-National Council of Vocational Training & SCVT-State Council of Vocational Training.
Qualification (For Fresher Candidates :)

Security Guard			10th in 10+2 System from recognized Board in India
STIPEND
The Apprentice will be paid monthly consolidated stipend amount as per the Gazette notification of the government of india under the Apprenticeship Act 1992 (Amended). At persent the rate of stipend is as follows:
Qualification			Stipend
One year's ITI (SCVT/NCVT)			Rs 7700/- per month
Two year's ITI (SCVT/NCVT)			Rs 8050/- per month
Fresher			Rs 6000/- per month or qualification based as prescribed in the apprentices rule 1992.
Note :- No other allowances / benefits will be provided. Payment of stipend shall be governed by the irection issued by respective RDSDEs.

PERIOD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING:
For ITI Trade Apprentices period of Apprenticeship Training shall be 12 months commencing From the date of the contract of Apprenticeship. For Fresher Trade Apprentices period of Apprenticeship Training shall be, as specified in the Apprenticeship Rule. Note:- It shall not be obligatory in the part of WCL to offer empolyment to any apprentices who has complete his/her apprenticeship, nor shall it be obligatory on the part of apprentices to accept emploment from the WCL.
